Fairbanks Old Timers Hockey Association

Each Player must register first with USA Hockey and then return to this Registration Session to signup for the 2023-24 Season. USA Hockey registration numbers are usually 9 numbers followed by 5 letters. If you already have your 2023-24 USA Hockey number, click CONTINUE below to sign up for Fairbanks Oldtimers Hockey.

If you haven't yet registered with USA Hockey for the 2023-24 season, follow the steps below. If you registered with USA Hockey for 2023-24 but forgot/lost your registration number, visit www.usahockeyregistration.com to request an additional registration confirmation.

• Step 1:  CLICK HERE to go to USA Hockey Registration to register and get your USA Hockey number. Each player must have their own unique USA Hockey confirmation number.
  • You will need to pay by credit card to complete the transaction. The fee is $55.00 this year, which covers your USA Hockey Membership through August 31, 2024 and the Alaska affiliate fee. This is a one-time fee for the 2023-24 season.
• Step 2:  Return to this registration and proceed. Later in this registration session you will need to enter the USA Hockey Confirmation Code that you received in Step 1.

Before you continue, please note:

Age Requirment - As always, to play with the Oldtimers you must be at least 35 years old at some point during the season. For this season, your 35th birthday must be on or before April 2, 2024.

League Size - Registration is currently limited to the first 91 skaters and 6 goalies who sign up. Depending on demand, we may increase team sizes or the number of teams. If you attempt to register and receive a message that it is "Out of Stock", the league is currently full, so please contact Rob Ott (rob.ott@k12northstar.org, 699-8555) to be added to a wait list. 

Length of Season - Each team will play approximately 42 games, beginning in October and ending mid April.

Cost - To allow time for game scheduling, player notifications, and the formation of evenly-matched teams before the season starts, Oldtimers encourages those interested in playing to register by October 8, 2023. When you register will determine what you pay:

- Now to 10/8/2023:  $700 for skaters, $350 for goalies

- 10/9/2023 and after:  $800 for skaters, $400 for goalies

If the league is short on skaters after the season starts, it may decide to allow in-season registrations. In that case, a skater joining the league after games have been played will pay a prorated league fee based on a 42-game season and the higher $800 season cost.
